He graduated in Architecture (Universidad Autónoma de Centro América), he is a member in Colegio Federado de Ingenieros y Arquitectos de Costa Rica, and he is getting a MBA in Arquitectura Bioclimática en el Trópico (University of Costa Rica).

He performed in the Seminary: Arquitectura Bioclimática y Construcción Sostenible (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid-Universidad de Costa Rica), he has studies in 3Dmax, Autocad, painting and photography. Also has a study in music as a drummer that influenced his artistic conception of the architecture and that were useful to him for the design of recording studios. 

He directs the company ARQUITEC S.A. founded in 1974 by the Arq. Jorge Castro Villegas, along with which has developed numerous projects of institutional architecture, intelligent buildings, condominiums and residences, such as:  Apartments in Moravia (published in the Magazine Su Casa Edition XII, 2003); Svedarsky Apartments, Santa Ana; Beach house Mears, Malpaís, Puntarenas; Apartments Gómez in Guachipelín; House Cerdas Family, Tibás; House Cerdas-Ramirez, Ciudad Colón; House Retana Family, Santa Ana; House Saborío, Escazú; House Soto-Ruiz, Santa Ana Apartments, Paniagua House, Moravia; Apartments Lobo, Alajuela; Remodeling Parish of San Sebastián, San José.
