Julia Ardón considers herself not only a photographer but also an observer of people. In addition to the photography, she has other interests such as writing and the Web sites. She says that the electronic mail is her favorite mass media. Julia is involved in the accomplishment of three Web sites: www.elsalondebelleza.com where we can observe a beautiful collection of pictures of women photographed by Julia. Finally she collaborates in the sections of cultural opinion, writing articles and the inclusion of photography in the site www.informa-tico.com.

She studied communication, advertising, philosophy, philology, sociology, and photography without graduating officially at none.

Julia enjoys using Internet as a knowledge tool. This year she coordinated, along with the Centro de Cine Costarricense, a production in development of the creativity in called photography “Creer para ver, Ver para Creer”that was received in a positive way by the participants and organizers. Recently she participated in a project of the Asociación Costarricense de Escritores, reading for the first time in public two of her poems.
